Your outstanding generosity and spirit of the holiday season, made Christmas quite special for two local families. We provided clothing and a fun personal gift for each of 8 children and a grocery coupon (enough for Christmas dinner) to each of two mothers. Both of these families had no prospects of "Christmas" and were VERY appreciative. Because of our contributions, they had a special holiday!

Lake Charlevoix Mariners Sailing School News
The Mariners program is growing! Last summer there were over 450 youth and 40 adults who learned more about sailing and racing. They did this in the nine new JY 15s, five Optis and a J-22. In the summer of 2004, there will be an additional instructor which brings the staff to four instructors and Program Director. The program has been located at the south end of Depot beach, but may move to the north end this summer. The brochure for the 2004 season will be available at CYC after April 1.
